Amar, Johnny Vaughan speaks like a man who has presided over a huge decline of breakfast show listeners at Capital since Tarrant left. If he was the man on top he would be championing rajar all the way
His 'loaded generation' type humour does not appeal to women, which is why they brought Denise back, but I doubt whether it will work. The two seem past their sell by date. Chris Moyles' show is and always has been superior

As someone who recently switched from Moyles (principally because of his interminably boring "birthday corner") to Vaughan I think the latter has nothing to worry about it. I just wish I'd done it sooner.

I was a fan of Johnny, especially in the eighties, when he and Jonathan Ross were the fresh young faces of popular 'yuff' culture. He had a movie show on Channel 4 with a girl called Tanya Guha, but Mr Vaughn has been quite hit and miss, highlight being the breakfast show, low being the comedy series. Moyles is good, he doesn't pretend to be anything else than what he is, as is 'Woss'. Many Johnny needs to stick to something and appeal to an audience that he can relate to, ie 40+.
